Best Times to Visit Palma Aquarium

Early Mornings Right After Opening

Arriving as soon as the aquarium opens is one of the best ways to enjoy a მშვიდ, crowd-free experience. You’ll have more space to explore popular zones like the Big Blue shark tank, interactive exhibits, and tropical habitats without waiting or feeling rushed. It’s also the ideal time for great photos and a relaxed start to your visit.

Late Afternoons (2–3 Hours Before Closing)

If you’re not an early riser, visiting later in the day can be just as rewarding. Crowds tend to thin out, especially during weekdays, allowing you to move more freely through exhibits and enjoy a calmer atmosphere before closing time.

Weekdays, Especially Tuesday Through Thursday

Midweek visits are typically less busy compared to weekends and holidays. This makes it easier to fully immerse yourself in the exhibits, spend more time at interactive displays, and enjoy a smoother overall experience.

Spring (April–June) and Early Fall (September–October)

These shoulder seasons offer the perfect balance of pleasant weather and manageable crowd levels in Mallorca. You’ll avoid peak summer tourist rush while still enjoying a vibrant, lively atmosphere across the island.

Outside Peak Travel Periods and School Holidays

Summer months (July–August), spring break, and major holidays tend to attract larger crowds. If your schedule allows, plan your visit outside these peak periods for shorter lines, easier navigation through exhibits, and a more enjoyable experience overall.

During Feeding Times and Educational Sessions

Check the daily schedule for animal feeding sessions and talks—they’re not only informative but also bring the exhibits to life. Timing your visit around these activities adds an engaging and memorable layer to your experience.
